Remote Learning

Although face-to-face teaching for all students has now restarted, we continue to provide our Remote Learning package. Due to COVID-19 and its various strains, as a school, we must be ready to provide Remote Learning in the event of a year group bubble closure. Although we are doing everything within our powers to negate the possibility of this, sometimes it may be unavoidable.

Teachers will set work, through Remote Learning using Microsoft Teams. Every child within the school has access to Microsoft Teams and Office 365. Your child's details are available from the Class Teacher (please use the year group email to contact your child's teachers).

In the event that your household or your child is required to self-isolate separate to the year group bubble, work should be accessed through the Microsoft Teams platform. Work is set daily through the assignments widget and allows work to be returned to school for marking via the same software. Paper copies of set work are available by prior arrangement from the School Office.

We have a limited number of devices available for loan in order to be able to access Remote Learning. If you require a device, please contact the School Office in the first instance.

As part of our COVID Catch-up strategy, Microsoft Teams may be used to set additional or optional work. This may take the form of 'flipped learning' where resources and prior activities will be available on Teams prior to the lesson.

If you are having issues with connectivity or hardware, please contact the school for additional support.

Please use the videos and supporting documents below to help you access our Remote Learning.
